ABSTRACTThe aim of this study is to analyse if the UN today constructs the water issue as a security issue and to argue about in which way the organization in that case does so alternatively why it can be said that the UN doesn?t construct the water issue as a security issue.In order to reach this purpose the following questions will be answered:?Does the UN construct the water issue as a security issue today?-If yes, in which way?-If no, why can it be said that the organisation doesn?t?The methods used are qualitative literature studies of policy documents on water from the UN. The focus is to analyze the ideas about water and to apply my theory on the concept of security, which is Barry Buzan?s framework on security, to these ideas.The main results showed that the UN strongly constructs the water issue as an environmental security issue for environments and species and in relatively strong terms also constructs it as an environmental security issue for civilisations. In rare cases the organisation constructs it as a societal security issue, but the UN doesn?t construct the water issue as a military, political or economic security issue..

Previous studies of stress and coping regarding urban bus drivers describe an unhealthy occupation in areas of psychological and physiological factors. In the present study a social constructionist approach was used to investigate Swedish urban bus drivers' constructs of stress and coping regarding passengers. Semi-structered interviews were performed with ten bus drivers, nine males and one female. The data was transcribed verbatim and analysed with the program QSR NUD*IST.Three main themes where found; passanger related context, coping strategies and promoting circumstances. According to statistics two thirds of Swedish criminals relapse into crimes within three years (Brå, 2007). Researchers suggest a relationship between attitudes toward crime and delinquent behaviour (Andrews & Bonta, 2003), but whether these attitudes are implicit or explicit remains unclear. Therefore, the aim of this study was to measure both constructs. Using SC-IAT (Karpinski & Steinman, 2006) and constructs from the Theory of planned behavior (Ajzen, 1985), criminals (N = 51) in three different prisons in southern Sweden were tested. Analysis yielded mixed results.

Hur matchar den mentala dokumentationen de satta betygen? Vilken skriftlig dokumentation har lärarna vid betygssättning? Hur förhåller den mentala och den skriftliga dokumentationen till varandra och till kursplan och betygskriterier i Lpo 94?MetodRepertory Grid(RG)- intervjuer utfördes med fyra lärare i idrott och hälsa för att undersöka deras mentala dokumentation och deras skriftliga dokumentation samlades in. Intervjuerna analyserades med WebGrid5, ett program för RG-intervjuer. Sex månader senare gjordes en uppföljning där lärarna kunde kommentera analyserna.ResultatDe construct som genererades i RG-intervjuerna återfinns i kategorierna motivation, färdigheter, självförtroende och social kompetens där ledarskap ingår. För att få ett MVG måste eleven få en hög skattning i av läraren i alla constructs, för att få ett VG i minst hälften av dem och för ett G behövs inga höga skattningar.

Abstract This essay is about the visibility of everyday life in a nursing home. The thesis is based on the following questions: What characterizes the social life and conversation between staff and residents? What content has the social life and the conversation between these parties? What is the power relationship between the staff and residents? To answer these questions, we used the qualitative approach with open observations, along with interviews. The study is partly based on direct observation by an observer as a participant in a special housing, and on semi-structured interviews with seven respondents, three of them staff and four residents in the same nursing home. For the results and analysis section, we use the Grounded Theory as a method which constructs a parallel between data processing and analysis of the interviews, where we first encode, categorize and create themes.

Abstract:Because personal assistance is relatively new in social care in Sweden we were interested in to get more knowledge in how supervisors for personal assistants worked. In our study we choosed to look into how the supervisors worked with the physical work environment for the personal assistants. The questions we wanted to found answers for in this study was, which work directions the supervisors for personal assistants have around the physical work environment, which legal provisions there were around the physical work environment for the personal assistants and how the supervisors experienced the work with the physical work environment for the personal assistants. We did a qualitative interview study with supervisors for personal assistants. We realised in our study that there were big differences in how the supervisors for personal assistants worked with the physical work environment for the personal assistants.

Slutsatsen i vår studie är att syftena för inhyrning av personal är likvärdiga mot tidigare studier som utförts. Vi har i studien klargjort att flexibilitet är fortfarande ett centralt syfte att hyra personal istället för att anställa. Vi konstaterar även att motivet ?undvika LAS? inte är ett vanligt syfte att hyra personal, även fast undvikandet av LAS är en omdiskuterad faktor i den teoretiska referensramen. Tidigare studier visar att den största anledningen till att hyra personal från ett bemanningsföretag, är som ett alternativ för vikariat.

This study deals with branding at an individual level and aims to explore what a personal brand means, what benefits that?s obtained by actively working with a personal brand, as well as the strategies and methods used in the development of it. It has also meant a restriction in choice of interviewees made to informants who are familiar with and active in the personal branding process in their daily life. The essay is based on a qualitative research approach; six people working in various occupations were interviewed by a desire to generate information from different perspectives. The result shows that a personal brand is all about credibility, authenticity, and the image you present to others.
